Hi, I’m Amanda.
I’m a 37-year-old Londoner, native English speaker, and Training Specialist with a deep passion for self-development, human behaviour, and personal growth.
I’ve always had a growth mindset, but my journey truly deepened after Covid in 2020 and again in 2022, when my migraines changed significantly. I live with migraine with aura, and during that time I experienced neurological symptoms several times a week. It was intense, isolating, and life-altering — something I speak about openly in my migraine blog.
Movement has been a huge part of my healing and identity. You’ll often find me:
-
In the gym, building strength — mentally and physically
-
Dancing, reconnecting with joy and expression
-
Out walking, cappuccino in hand ☕
Dance and fitness aren’t just hobbies for me — they’ve been anchors through anxiety, depression, and periods of deep self-reflection.
In 2023, spending a lot of time alone with my thoughts led me to face anxiety and depression head-on. I also came to understand my anxious attachment style, shaped by growing up with an alcoholic father. On the other side of that, I’ve been incredibly lucky to have an amazing mum who has always been a steady presence in my life.
Today, I’m in a completely different place.
I’m on the other side of survival mode — actively choosing to do better, be better, and discover my true life purpose. Through self-development, fitness, dance, and honest storytelling, I want to inspire other women to believe that change is possible — even when life feels heavy.
I’ll continue to share more of my journey through my blog, but if even one person feels seen, understood, or inspired by my story, then this space has done exactly what it’s meant to do.
